Explore the endless possibilities of collage in this six-week adult art class. We’ll complete three distinct projects- a layered floral arrangement, a stylized flock of birds, and an accordion book filled with small collage treasures. Along the way, we’ll embrace the balance of experiment and control, discovering how color, shape, texture, and imagery can be cut, rearranged, layered, and transformed. Continuing Creativity is designed for adults ages 18+ , whether you’re looking to explore new artistic fields or refine existing skills. Participants can unlock life experiences through the creative process while bringing fresh new ideas to class. Through a wide range of creative experiences from painting, drawing, and printmaking to mixed media, fiber arts, sculpture and collage, you’ll be encouraged to express yourself, challenge your creativity, and connect with a vibrant community of fellow artists. Join us to enhance your artistic journey, discover new passions, and enjoy the enriching benefits of making art. Each 6 week session offers a new area of concentration and exploration and is open to any participant regardless of previous participation.
