Join us for a mixed-media workshop where we will explore the pairing of watercolor + pastel to create unique textured landscapes. Participants will begin with guided warm-up techniques followed by step by step instruction to develop colorful landscapes with depth and character. There will be time to experiment and play with materials along the way. Take home a gorgeous landscape worth framing.

5/9 10am-12:30pm Fabric Charm Necklaces 18Y+
Get ready to craft your new favorite accessory! In this workshop, you will design + create two custom necklaces using fabrics in colors that call to you from many options. You'll learn to develop your pieces through creative twisting and knotting techniques, adding flair with a selection of fun charms. Each necklace will be finished with a secure metal clasp, leaving you with two unique, handmade statements to wear or gift

5/22+5/23 10am-12:30pm Paper-Mâché Snowy Owl sculpture 18Y+
Join us in honoring the snowy owl at this two day sculpture workshop where we will each create a rendition of our special visitor that brought so many people together in joy. Day 1- we will construct a sturdy armature to build the foundational structure, then apply paper-mâché techniques to add form and texture. Day 2- we will add paint to achieve the snowy owl’s distinct white-and-black plumage. Take home a creation to always remember our arctic visitor.

These events range from step by step instructional format to collaborative and self guided for youth to adult. Participants will always complete original art work to take home as well as the empowerment of a new skill set to keep on creating!Each session is unique and will vary in nature, concentration and age requirement.Please come dressed in clothes you are comfortable getting messy.
