Vintage Pumpkin Making Workshop 18Y+
Saturdays 10/10 + 10/17 10am-12pm $95
Create a charmingly spooky vintage pumpkin candy bowl or decoration in this two-session workshop, held on two consecutive Saturdays in October.Session 1 We’ll use papier-mâché paste to build and shape the pumpkin’s features and character.Session 2 We’ll bring our pumpkins to life with chalk paint, layering color and finish to achieve an authentically vintage spooky fun vibe!Come with a friend or make new ones! Enjoy creating with coffee and seasonal treats as we spend two cozy Saturdays creating unique Halloween pieces you’ll bring out year after year!Introduction to Stand-Up Comedy Workshop 18Y+

Does everyone always tell you how funny you are? Class clown, enjoy the spotlight, love making people laugh? This workshop is for YOU! In this workshop, each participant will focus on creating a five minute set to be performed at the group's showcase to be held at Cheers in Chesterton during the final session on November 21. This workshop is for those just curious about stand-up comedy or for those looking to start professionally. Got stage fright? No worries. This class is a very low pressure atmosphere with a lot of laughing and fun on stage. Your fearless leader, Robert Adam Hodgson (Robert Adam), is an LA known comedian with a breath of knowledge. Trained at the Comedy Store Hollywood under the guidance of Sandy Shore, as well as having completed courses by Late Night writer Jerry Corley and the Upright Citizen's Brigade, Robert has vast experience to share with you! In Los Angeles, he went on to have the 2017 LA Weekly Best of Open Mic and ran his own comedy venue from 2017 to 2019.Join our creative workshops + mini camps, the perfect opportunity to learn new techniques while exploring your creative potential. These events range from step by step instructional format to collaborative and self guided for youth to adult. Each session is unique and will vary in nature, concentration and age requirement.Please come dressed in clothes you are comfortable getting messy.
